This will be our 2nd meet-up for this book.
We will continue reading to the end of chapter 8. Then discuss our respective reactions and reflections on March 27th.
Our 3rd and finally meet-up session for this book will be April 24th (the last thursday of the month).
I will facilitate our conversation/discussion.
I would like to recognize Mike, Karen, Michelle, Michelle, Ben, Joseph, Sally (thanks for the b-day card), Aida, Lilly, John and Mary-Jo for creating another dynamic conversation and sharing your insights and perspectives. I am grateful.
I would also like to welcome back Lilly. Congratulations on your new job.
In Robert A. Johnson's words; "A myth is something that is true on the inside, but not true on the outside", "...it is not true in the outer, physical sense, but it is an accurate expression of a psychological situation, of the inner condition of the psyche", "...messengers of the unconscious mind". (pp. 1-3, We, Johnson).
Please Note: Our next book will be "A Brief History of Everything" by Ken Wilber. We may employ 3-4 meet-ups for this one.
Hoping everyone will join and connect with the Conversation soon.........
