Please read Lucius Apuleius' "Transformation of Lucuis" AKA: The Golden Ass.
It is considered the oldest latin (roman) novel. I suggest the translation by Robert Graves.
A great companion is Marie-Louise Von Franz's analytical interpretation of the novel.
I never knew it existed until about two months ago. I ordered a copy from amazon and i am finding it invaluable. It's great to know i'm not alone with my thoughts........
We will attempt to deconstruct "The Golden Ass" from an analytical perspective (jungian point of view).
The story is full of archetypes and syncronicity and alchemical transformations.
It should be fun, and a creative exercise to help propel us to begin constructing reality (all phenomena) with a Jungian posture.
